Nature Art

Take Only Pictures, Make only Art was an inspirational assignment for us this week. We looked at some on Land Art and headed outside. My boys impressed me so much with their ingenuity. We don't have a lot of nature in suburban Texas. A couple of trees, a few landscape plants, some dying grass, not much really, but they found raw material for some great art
.
This was a Zany (7)creation

This was by Cuddles (7

Another Cuddles(7)

Zany(7)

Frogboy (10)
Cuddles (7)
Ses (3)

Zany (7)
Smasher (4)

I made some too, but I won't bore you with that *grin*.

In Princess Banana news, her hands are opening up and she is exploring the world with them. She now grabs at my hair and shirt when I hold her. We found Ses in her bed "tissing (kissing) her". Didn't know he was capable of climbing into it, but we do now. Yet another reason for never ever letting them out of my sight.

Red and Frogboy are making stop action lego movies as fast as they can. I'm editing and getting them ready to animate. Yet another thing to add to my resume. After raising 8 kids, there will be very little I won't have a least a little knowledge about.

Time to find out where Tubby and Ses are.

Wonderful work by the boys...bravo to them. I loved seeing that they came up with so many varied creations despite starting with the same raw materials.

Thanks for the website link too, I'll bookmark that and check in from time to time...hope to see your family creations there.

Those are GREAT! That little bark teepee is something Magnus makes all the time. It's our gnome hut. The gnome sometimes has a fire (pretend LOL) outside his hut for 'tookting'. LOL!!!!!!

Oh they are so much fun! How fun that the boys got so into this. I can't wait to look at those sites!

It is never a good thing when it is quiet during the day time and you do not know where the kids are. Usually that means mine are into something they should not be into. :)
